Not sold, not traded
Your treatment record is not advertising inventory. There are no third-party trackers and no advertising code in the app, and Nova does not sell personal data to clinics, pharmaceutical companies or anybody else.
Statistics, never records
We may publish anonymised figures about treatment trends, and share them with researchers. Counts only, never anyone’s record, and never a figure drawn from fewer than five people.
Yours to take or delete
Export it whenever you like. Deleting your account really deletes it — not an archive. Three things survive on purpose, and the notice names them.

Why I built Nova
I created Nova after going through fertility treatment, which for me was ICSI and frozen embryo transfers. I found that treatment demanded an extraordinary amount of organisation at a time when I had very little mental space to spare.
The information about my treatment was scattered across calls, emails, documents and handwritten notes. I also felt incredibly alone. I struggled to explain what I was going through to friends, which made it difficult to ask for the support I needed.
The apps I tried either felt too simplistic or treated fertility care like an extension of period tracking. Or worse, kept telling me when I was most fertile, which really grated when I was already in treatment.
I wanted something built around the reality of treatment, including the parts that do not go to plan.
